Aftermath of Tornado in India Kills More Than The Natural Disaster Itself

Thousands are estimated to have died from water sources contaminated by the carcasses of livestock after last weeks tornado in India, according to Reuters

And nearly one million people in the eastern part of India are living out in the open after wind speeds of 120 Kph (75mph) left 200,000 homes. 137 people lost their lives during the Tornado and the suffering is continuing. 

According to Reuters, health centers and medical assistance remains elusive while food insecurity and the threat of human trafficking is looming in an area where most households are  below the poverty line.
