In seven African countries, a deadly fish disease is threatening the food security and the livelihood of millions of people says the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

It says Epizootic Ulcerative Syndrome (EUS) is infecting fish in the Zambezi River Valley and making the stock unmarketable. And that 700,000  people in Zambia dependent on fishing activities are now at risk of hunger.
