North Korea's Rocket on Launch Pad via Charlotte Observer

The United States is warning  that North Korea’s planed long range rocket launch in April will be seen as a violation of  U.N sanctions imposed on the Asian country for past weapons test.

North Korea says that if the international community punishes it for it’s planned  launch, it will restart a weapon grade nuclear plant. It says that any move to punish the government by the U.N Security Council would be seen as a hostile act.

As part of it’s space program, North Korea plans to launch a rocket designed to carry warheads between 4 April and 8 April. The rocket which is

said to be able to reach  as far as the United States, is part of North Korea’s project to sendsatellites into space.

The rocket is currently positioned on its launch pad, as it will need several days to fuel.
