Those who exercise regularly are 24% less likely to develop colon cancer than the least active, say American scientists in a study appearing in the British Journal of Cancer.

The study considered various forms of exercise, from manual labor to running and gym work outs.

Some researchers also believe that maintaining healthy body-weight can greatly lower ones risk of several forms of cancer.
